The Borrowed Line

August 18, 2026 · New content

Traced the reports from the last zone back to their source, and it isn't what I expected either. Not something built for this. Old, decommissioned equipment, decades old, quietly kept running by something that never asked permission and learned the protocol well enough to use it correctly.

New character, Ilan, sent to investigate exactly this kind of failure, for whom finding it feels less like a threat and more like a betrayal of her own training. New keeper, Brix, who's told the same joke about "the old rocks" for thirty years and just found out it wasn't one.

And one more thing before you ask: this still isn't the end of the line either.

Newer: The Gathering Place. Older: Faction Bounty Board — Fixes & Clarity. All updates.
