The Gathering Place

August 18, 2026 · New content

Followed the line one hop past where it seemed to end, and found the actual reason it existed at all. Not another relay. A genuine archive, holding records that go back centuries, not decades. Nobody's tending it. Nobody has been for a very long time.

New character, Rell, an independent archivist who found the place on her own and has been cataloguing it alone by lamplight for weeks. She's also the zone's new crafter and innkeeper, since she's the only one there to ask.

Somebody who's been chasing this whole mystery since Zone 38 finally gets to stop running. That felt earned, so I gave it room.

One more thread got left on the table, on purpose. I know exactly what it is. Not telling yet.
